We are looking to have some Rules Advisors at HRSC and will be running an evening session 1930 -Thursday 9th March 1930 at the HRSC Clubhouse

The start of the season is getting closer!

• Are you a budding Rules Advisor?
• Do you want to avoid the "Protest Hearing"
• Do you want a better understanding the Racing Rules?
• Do you want to help out providing guidance when the rules are questioned?

RYA Advisory and Arbitration is designed to resolve protests more simply and quickly without the need for a full Protest Hearing. A Rules Advisor will informally hear what has happened and offer an opinion on what rules may have been broken and should a witness be called. No one is disqualified or penalised as no formal facts are found. However, a boat that learns she has broken a rule may accept a Post-Race Penalty

The evening will be run by HRSC Member and experienced International Judge Mike Short who has chaired Protest Hearings at many high-profile events.
