Youth - POWERBOAT LEVEL 1

This course provides youngsters with an introduction to the correct way to handle a powerboat in close quarter manoeuvring situations, both on the river and alongside marina berths. Course content includes, launching and recovering, preparation of boat and crew, boat handling, picking up and securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside a berth, towing. You will be able to drive a powerboat whilst supervised after the course

Youth - POWERBOAT LEVEL 2

• Course Length: 2 days
• Pre-requisites: None

After successful completion of the Powerboat Level 2 course youngsters will be able to skipper a powerboat under adult supervision. They will learn and refine boat handling skills, command a powerboat at planing speeds, learn man over board techniques, cover chartwork, buoyage, rules of the road, basic meteorology, and much more.....
