RYA Power Boat and Safety Boat Courses:
POWERBOAT LEVEL 2

Powerboat Level 2 is a RYA national qualification, the course covers the National Powerboat Certificate and fulfils the minimum requirements for the MCA ICC (International Certificate of Competence). You'll learn the basics of boat handling, launch and recovery procedure, buoyage, rules of the road, meteorology and best practice. POWERBOAT LEVEL 2 - Direct Assessment

- Course Length: 1 day
- Pre-requisites: Knowledge and experience to powerboat level 2 standard
This course is a one day assessment, aimed at those that are confident enough in their powerboating abilities to pass the course without the full course instruction. The day is split in two, with the morning being used as a refresher and familiarisation with the boat, and the afternoon spent on the assessment. This assessment can be run on demand and to suite your needs, if you would like to book an assessment on any day other than those listed please contact us.

SAFETY BOAT

- Pre-requisites: Level 2
Safety Boat is a follow on from the Level 2 for instructors and anyone involved in safety boat duties. It covers the principles of fleet management as well as how to assist and recover dinghies, catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks / canoes and powerboats. Plenty of experience and a high level of boat handling is essential.
