Autumn events at HRSC

With Autumn Fast approaching and the Wednesday night racing drawing to a close we look to what comes next, on the 3rd Thursday of each month we will be joined by a different Guest speaker giving a talk at the club, ending the year with the Christmas drinks party!

Details of each talk will be published in the coming weeks.

The talks will start at 7pm, the bar will be open from 18:45. A light supper is available to book online and will be served after the talk.

Hamble Classics

Hamble Classics Regatta 5th & 6th September

Entries are building for this year’s classic regatta, racing organised as usual by HRSC with Peter Bateson as the PRO, and shoreside events at the RAFYC.

If you would like to be involved with this very enjoyable regatta please contact email rcs@hrsc.org.uk - with just three weeks until the event we are keen to assign the committee boat roles include comms, flags, time keeping, and the finish boat recording team. Also needed are experienced RIB drivers and mark layers for the two days – good start lines and windward mark laying are always much appreciated by the racing fleet. Pack lunches are provided for all afloat!

HRSC Moorings

Are you looking for a river mooring, then look no further, HRSC has some of the cheapest moorings on the River Hamble!

HRSC offers either fore and aft or pontoon mooring.

HRSC Club Racing

Join Hamble River Sailing Club for the club dinghy racing on the first Sunday of the month starting from April. Fun and friendly racing for sailors of all ages and abilities.

Racing is held in the river and club members are welcome to use a club boat. All sign ups need to be completed on the club website.

The first event will include this years Warming Pan, this will be an in house event where members can compete against each other to take home the Hamble Warming Pan for 2023.

Fast class racing PY 1300 or less, Slow class racing for PY 1301 or above.
