Youth Sailing Taster Event

The Youth sailing taster session will be taking place on Saturday 13th April as part of one of our youth sailing sessions where non-members can come and try out a youth sailing session.

Our session this week is an open taster session that anyone aged 5-16 can come along for free and have a go at sailing!

During the session children will have the opportunity to sail different kinds of boats with adults and older youth sailors. The emphasis throughout is for kids to have fun on the water, engage with other children and make friends, as well as learn to sail and continue to improve their sailing skills.

All children are welcome, no prior ability needed. Bring shoes you are happy to get wet, and ideally a change of clothes. Buoyancy aids are provided.

After sailing everyone can come back to the club house where the bar will be open the kitchen will be serving food and members will be available to chat to and find out more about HRSC youth sailing.
