Baby Bob's

Saturday morning started with a blistering 3 knots of wind, so we had to postpone for a bit, but then rumours came of more wind round the corner so we went for a mass tow round to Cat Head, where sure enough there was (just) enough breeze to run some racing!
We had 7 enthusiastic Oppie sailors, a couple of whom had never raced before, sailing a triangular course. We completed 3 races, with all the children finishing each race and all learnt a lot from sailing in such testing conditions.
So a big ‘well done’, to Andrew, Cameron, Indigo, Jonty, Tancrede, Thomas and William.
Results wise – as an experienced racer, Cameron took two firsts and a second, with William coming second over-all, followed by Andrew third and Jonty fourth.
