Youth Sailing Registration Day
Youth registration day 2024 will take place in the club house on Saturday 16th March from 10:00 and will end around midday.
Our Registration day is an opportunity for all sailors to get together on land and meet their group leaders for the 2024 season and rig the groups boats. It is an opportunity for parents to discuss sailing plans for the upcoming year and be trained/refreshed in duties ahead of the season. We really appreciate all sailors attending the session, especially with sailors moving groups and group leaders having changed from last year.
The day will be split in to two sessions. The first is a welcome session in the club house with your child's group leader. This session allows all our sailors to meet with their group leaders for the 2024 season and find out what exciting opportunities are planned, along with rigging club boats so the sailors (and parents) know what they are doing when sailing starts.
The second session will be a training/info session primarily for parents split into different sessions that you can drop in and out of depending on what is relevant to you.
If you have a particular subjects/areas you would like to know more about, please do let me know and we will do our best to accommodate so that everyone is ready for the 2024 season.
