This RYA course will cover the basics of sailing safely under superviusion, alongside the process of rigging, launching and recovering a dinghy.

Course content:

1. The basic theory behind sailing
2. Dinghy rigging, launching and recovering
3. Sailing across the wind and going about (tacking)
4. Nessesary background theory (ropework, sailing terminology)

Ability after course:

1. Able to sail on a simple course across the wind, under supervision from a safety boat.
2. Able to rig, launch and recover a dinghy
3. Able to obtain and understand a wether forcast before sailin
