RYA Seamanship Assistant Instructor and Day Sail
8th - 12 August 2022
This is a seamanship course part of the advanced sailing modules. On this course (First 2 days) students will learn to handle their dinghy in all conditions and also master: Lee shore landings and departures, Reefin ashore and afloat, Stopping, coming alongside, Man over Board and lots of other skills. Once the seamanship course is complete then students will move onto the Assistant Instructor course or the Day sail module. Assitant Instructor will be based on demonstration of sailing ability and by invite.
All must have completed a stage 4 qualification prior to booking onto this course.
