HAVE A GO AT SAILING AS HAMBLE RIVER SAILING CLUB PUSH THE BOAT OUT
Hamble River SC invites you and your family to enjoy an experience of sailing this Sunday 22 nd May 2016 as the club hosts anyone-welcome FREE taster sessions as part of national RYA Push the Boat Out.
RYA Push the Boat Out (14 - 22 May) is a nine day nationwide event that will see hundreds of sailing clubs and centres across the country opening their gates for local people to come and 'have a go' on the water.
Whether you're completely new to the sport, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly Hamble River Sailing Club will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in RYA Push the Boat Out. The event will see hundreds of people taking part in the sport at open days, have a go session.
Starting at 09:30 on 22 nd May at Ferry Hard, Hamble (outside the club),. We will be running one hour FREE "Introduction to Sailing" sessions until 17:30. Where you can have a go in one of our dinghies, (even on your own if you are feeling brave!), under the watchful eye of an experienced RYA Instructor.
Keagan Barr, Sailing Manager said: "We are delighted to be taking part in the RYA Push the Boat Out once again this year, we are inviting the local community to come down to the club, have a go on the water.
