MDL Regatta

Well done all of you.  In very testing conditions you managed to finish 2 races.  Thanks must go to our R.O. Chris Hamel as it was a very difficult to set a course. Nat did very well for her first sail in a laser and it was lovely to see 6 lasers taking part it must be the way forward for the older cadets now they are getting too big for the Pico’!!!!  Sienna  did well taking over from Kieran which gave us an extra Pico to share with the younger Pico sailors thank you for this Sienna and well done for finishing third.

 

It was very a very close result in the Laser class with both Alex and Callum winning one race each but by sailing rules Alex takes overall winner.

Robert sailed well and finished 1st overall in the Pico Single handed.  I must mention Alice who is not one of our keen racers but she managed a very creditable 2nd overall.
