Hamble Classics 2024 Early-Bird Entry closing soon
Classic sailors - don't miss out! The 25% discount for Early Bird entries will close at 16:00 on Monday July 1st and also the prize draw for Hamble Classics engraved champagne flutes with a pair for each of the first three yacht names drawn. Already the entry list has some interesting yachts including 'Phizz' a 1950 Fred Parker designed Ocean Racer and 'Uandi', the exquisite 1897 William Fife designed gaff-rigged dayboat. This 9th edition of the Hamble Classics Regatta is hosted jointly by the Hamble River Sailing Club for race management and the Royal Air Force Yacht Club as the shore base and social venue. Racing is planned for classic racers, cruising and open boats under IRC, non-rated yachts and dayboats in the Regatta Class, classic one-design classes including XOD, Dragon and Folkboat, plus International Metre classes, Spirit of Tradition yachts and the Old Gaffers. For currently non-rated IRC type boats the RORC rating office is offering Single Event Ratings. The event supporting partners are Spinlock, Classic Marine, OneSails, the Elephant Boatyard, the Salcombe Distilling Company, Z-Spars UK, and Walcon Marine.
