Following the latest Government advice, we have had to make the sad decision to restrict access to the Club and Club House. This means all club and external activities are no longer taking place with immediate effect. Gemma and Richard will still be working at the club for now however members and visitors are requested not to enter the building.
All the following events/sessions are postponed until further notice:
- Junior Warming Pan
- Team Hamble
- Warming Pan
- IOCA Training
- Wednesday Evening Racing*
- Mob & Wow
- Fitting Out Day
- Training Day
- Social Events
*if there is sufficient interest, we will run an Early Bird Seamanship Series as per our current Bad Weather Seamanship Races. Please let the office know by Wednesday, 25 April if you are interested and we will publish the Notice of Racing & Sailing Instructions.
This has been a very challenging decision to have to make on behalf of all members and our Club. However we know you will understand the reasons. We are also looking at different ways to keep connected with our members via technology - we will update you as and when!
Now for some positive news..
If any of our members are self-isolating(individually or as a family) and need support such as shopping for essentials, collection of prescriptions, social contact, dog walking, etc. please get in touch. In the spirit of our Club we are setting up a HRSC Members Support Hub and are happy to help any members who need this support. We are also looking for members who would be happy to be part of our Support Hub. So whether you need our help or are happy to offer your help, please contact Gemma or Richard on 023 8045 2070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
For now, please follow all Government guidelines and information so we keep healthy and look forward to when we can get back on the water.
