    The 2012 Club Championship is being held before the Prize giving takes places at the clubhouse on 17th November. 11.30 – Competitors briefing and draw for boats. 13.00 – First race start. 4 short races in the River to decide the Overall HRSC 2012 Club Champion! Come along and cheer on your fellow members whilst they battle it out!

    Team Hamble bring the Onboard Trophy home

    Well done to Team Hamble who yesterday clinched the OB Trophy bringing it to HRSC. Tom Johnson led home the single handed Pico's by winning all three races and the MacFarlane brothers winning all three races in the double handed.   • Dubarry Women's Open Keelboat Championship 2012

    Sun, Sailing & Sandals (well flipflops anyway!). The Women's Open Keelboat Championship organised by Jody, Ellie and the Hamble River Sailing Club benefited from some late summer sun over the weekend and was enjoyed by all participants both on and off the water.   • Baby Bobs venture out of the River

    Saturday 1st September brought a change to the wettest summer in 100 years with a dry calm day, with only 5-6 knots forecast and less in the sheltered river; the decision was taken to hold the racing in Southampton Water near to Cat Head. A briefing was held in the Club House to explain the basics of racing and the course to be sailed. A best of 3 regatta would decide the under 11 club champion. The
