  • 2013 Hamble Warming Pan

    h2. Sat/Sun 16th/17th March 2013 Over 70 dinghies are expected to be racing on the River Hamble at the 2013 Warming Pan racing from Hamble River Sailing Club. Racing will start and finish on the Hamble River Sailing Club line and we typically attract the top sailors in each of the Merlin Rocket, Firefly, National 12 & Foxer classes. Visitors to the village will be able to watch the competing dinghies at many vantage points along the river

  • Winter Dinghy Sailing

    Hamble River SC Winter dinghy racing Hamble River’s Winter dinghy racing programme kicked off on Saturday 1st December with four short races held in a light breeze and beautifully sunny conditions. This is the first time for many years the club has run handicap dinghy racing during the winter and it was great to see nine boats including Optimists, Picos, Laser Radials, Fevas and Fireflys on the startline.     Team Hamble bring the Onboard Trophy home

    Well done to Team Hamble who yesterday clinched the OB Trophy bringing it to HRSC. Tom Johnson led home the single handed Pico's by winning all three races and the MacFarlane brothers winning all three races in the double handed.   • Dubarry Women's Open Keelboat Championship 2012

    Sun, Sailing & Sandals (well flipflops anyway!). The Women's Open Keelboat Championship organised by Jody, Ellie and the Hamble River Sailing Club benefited from some late summer sun over the weekend and was enjoyed by all participants both on and off the water.
