Racing cancelled owing to bad weather. The evening Rum Party will still be going ahead from 17:30 onwards. Tickets can be purchased on arrival.
Designed for the more mature sailor, anyone 50 years and over, to include (we hope) some who will remember HRSC in its heyday of Olympic sailing and dinghy championship successes. Racing will be for non-trapeze dinghies under PY handicap (972 – 1165) eg. Laser, OK, Finn, Foxer, etc., keelboats up to 9 metres LOA under HRSC Club Handicap and XODs. This is the perfect opportunity to dust off a treasured boat and challenge old rivals. After racing come ashore for a Rum Party on the HRSC patio, raise a glass and enjoy the best view the River Hamble. It's an open event - Members and non-members are very welcome.
