Fairthorne Camp

HRSC Annual Cadet Camp at Fairthorne Manor. This is always an exciting and popular event where there is a real "Swallows and Amazon" experience for the children (and the big kids!!!). We enjoy the sailing opportunities on the river, amazing inclusive games, fun on land and a real opportunity to spend quality time with like-minded families, whilst toasting marshmallows around the camp fire.

The dates are Thursday, 30th May to Sunday, 2nd June. It is a very flexible event and you can attend as much or as little as you wish. Options include coming for the day or days, or camping for one night or more. Camping for all of the days is the best fun!!!!

You can bring your own tent (£45 per family/per night) or Fairthorne have also offered their own pre-erected heavy duty tents for those of you who may prefer to use them (4m x 5m) – they have a solid wooden platform as a base - all you need to bring is a sleeping bag and pillow (cost is £75 per family/per night ).

If you prefer not to camp then you are most welcome to come along for just the day (or days) at a cost of £17.50 per child per day.

The plan is that we will be taking boats up river from the club on Thursday, 31 May in the morning (HW is 09:38) and bring them back on the Sunday. All help with this is gratefully received!! And this year the kids can sail the boats up too! We will be looking to leave the club around 09:30

Fairthorne's booking procedures require that all bookings and full payment must be made 6 weeks prior to our camp so the closing date for bookings is Monday 22 April.
