Thu 24th March - Solent Local Knowledge - "The Tide, Sea Breezes & Race Preparation"

Published 12:01 on 8 Mar 2022

The week before Wednesday Evening Club Racing starts, brush up on your "Local Knowledge" and the get to hear from our panel on what can make your boat go faster, be it greater knowledge of the tide, ensuring your boat is well prepared or

where and why the wind will change. The will also be a Question and Answer session with a panel of HRSC members with not only years of experience in our waters but have all raced at international level.

A great way to meet the fleet before the start of this year's series and share your own experiences over a drink and a meal.

The evening is aimed at keelboat racing in the Solent but other sections of the club are more than welcome together with any of your crew who may not be members

All the talks are free to attend, the talks are open to all members and their guests. If you would also like to stay for dinner please select the talk and dinner option. The bar will be open at each event. Please book your seat here.
